EtherNet/IP Introduction

The EtherNet/IP for Industrial Automation Intro class introduces the design and troubleshooting of EtherNet/IP network in a Logix based control system including the fundamentals of EtherNet, design of media and infrastructure, and initial configuration of Stratix switches. The instructor will introduce the concepts of a simple unmanaged star, a Device Level Ring, VLANs, Network Address Translation (NAT), and DHCP. We will discuss the importance of segmenting and demonstrate techniques for troubleshooting an EtherNet/IP network. No experience with EtherNet/IP networking is expected. No labs included.
