Safety is a top priority at Werner Electric Supply. We have a Corporate Safety Committee that has executive leadership and operational representation across all branch locations to help cultivate a strong safety culture. We also have an award-winning Wellness Program recognized by WELCOA (Wellness Council of America) that focuses on our employee's total well-being. We want employees to find their balance between work and life and provide opportunities and resources that allows them to be the best versions of themselves in and outside of work.

Continuous Improvement

We are continuously looking for ways to improve our business, to better serve our customers and to heighten our employees' ability to thrive. Werner believes in building an "army of problem solvers" through a strong culture of continuous improvement. Werner offer employees the opportunity to strengthen their skillset in this area through our Werner Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Yellow Belt certification programs, drive engagement through our Quick Improvement program, and recognize individuals and teams for their successes through our CI Fairs. CI support is offered to all through a dedicated Continuous Improvement team.

Internships & Rotational Development Program

Werner Electric offers a variety of internships each summer. We task our interns with business impacting projects and provide opportunities for them to work cross-functionally on group projects as well. We strive to give each of our interns valuable and meaningful work that allows them to grow personally and professionally. Our previous interns are one of the first places we look when seeking talent to fill fulltime positions. We also have a Rotational Development Program allowing fulltime employees to work in multiple business areas over a period of time, to better understand our business and be ready for future leadership roles.
