Connected Components Workbench Foundations
The purpose of this class is for students of any experience level to understand the basics of Rockwell’s Connected Components Software (CCW) and Micro800 PLC platform. This is a 7 hour class consisting of approximately 5 hours of Micro800 PLS’s and 2 hours of small scale, component class, PowerFlex drives such as the 4M or the 523 drives. Students will learn how to configure CCW software and controllers, as well as using and creating function blocks in a standard industrial ladder logic profile. In the last half of the class, students will create and configure a drive communication program to control a PowerFlex drive remotely through their Micro800 PLC.
Who Should Attend
Those that need to connect to, troubleshoot and make basic configuration changes to micro 800 controllers and PowerFlex drives such as the 4M or the 523 drives.

Technology Requirements
All technology is provided for student use in the classroom by Rockwell Automation. It is not necessary for students to bring any technology with them when attending this course.Â
Hands-On Practice
Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to practice the skills you have learned through a variety of hands-on exercises using an ABT-TDENET5700 EtherNet/ IP workstation and Stratix® 8000 switch. Exercises focus on the skills introduced in each lesson.
