PowerFlex 750 & 520 Foundations

This one-day course is intended for individuals responsible for starting up, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting PowerFlex 750 and PowerFlex 520 series drives. Topics covered include basics of AC drives, configuration, wiring, and startup, usage of line and load reactors, and selection and usage of braking resistors for both drives. Software tools such as Connected Components Workbench (CCW), RSLinx Classic, and ControlFlash will also be covered. Lunch provided.

Hands-On Practice

Students will use a laptop to configure PowerFlex Drives. Approximately 1/2 of the class is lab.

Student Materials

All materials needed for this class will be supplied by Werner Electric for both in-person classes and Online Live classes. Training workstation: laptop, PowerFlex 753 with motor, PowerFlex 525 with motor. Student Manual.
